I sat in the grass watching the water lapping up onto the sand I was on holiday in Ireland, my fave country in the world. My mum and dad were sat in the pub down the road but I’d just had a text from my boyfriend saying he’d finished me so I needed some time alone. The best way I found to relax was to sing, so I began. “But If I let you go, I will never know, what my life would be holding you close to me, will I ever see you smiling back at me, how will I know…” “If I let you go.” A voice sang behind me. I immediately spun round to be looking into the eyes of Nicky Byrne. “I couldn’t help but join in!” He said. “Oh that’s Ok. It’s your song anyway.” I told him and he laughed. “What’s so funny?” I asked. “I can’t go anywhere without being noticed!” He said flashing me a cheeky grin. “What’s your name?” Nicky asked. “I’m .” I told him. He smiled at me again. He had the most irresistible eyes and had a mischievous look on his face. “Do you live here?” He asked. “No, I’m on holiday.” I told him. “When are you going home?” Nicky asked. “2 days.” I told him. “Ohhh.” Nicky sighed. “Can I meet you tomorrow?” He asked. “Yeah sure.” I got out a pen from my bag and wrote down my address and gave it to him. “Thanx. I’ll be there at 7.” He grinned at me and walked off. The next evening… There was a knock at the door. I checked myself again for the last time before I went on a date with the man of my dreams. I walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Nicky looking gorgeous. He had a pair of tight jeans on and a long sleeved shirt. “Wow. You look gorge.” He told me and lent over and kissed me on the cheek. I wanted to kiss him forever but he pulled away quickly. “Come on!” Nicky said grabbing my hand and led me to his car. I got inside and he drove down to the lake where I’d met him yesterday. “I thought that this was the best place to come coz this was where I met the girl of my dreams. I’ve never met anyone as special as you before.” Nicky said leaning over, kissing me. He pulled me into the back seat of the car. “I love you.” He whispered in my ear. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him softly pulling him on top of me. He held me tightly. “Please stay with me.” Nicky said. “I will do, don’t worry. I ain’t going anywhere. Forget going home tomorrow. I’m staying.” I told him. He gently put his hand against my face and touched it softly and smiled at me. “I can’t believe I’ve met someone as special as you.” Nicky told me. “You’re my soul mate.” He put his hands around my neck and began kissing me.
